Matthew is a paralegal with our firm and worked full-time in the office from 2022 – 2023. He began working with our firm after graduating with his BA in Political Science cum laude from Colorado Mesa University. Before joining our firm, he worked with a bankruptcy practice in Grand Junction that focused on providing services to low-income debtors. Matthew left our office to attend law school at the University of Montana School of Law on scholarship. He is incredibly excited to learn the law and one day advocate on behalf of his clients. Matthew is still affiliated with the firm in a remote capacity. He plans to stay engaged with bankruptcy law and practice in the area of bankruptcy once he passes the bar. He is most drawn to this area for two reasons: its unique ability to make an immediate positive impact on our clients’ lives, and seeing the relief our clients experience when they learn of the freedom and fresh start they will gain with their bankruptcy discharge.
